TLH 4191/1E

TLH 4191/1E is a hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive for clear filmic labels ("no label look applications").

• Good die-cut ability 
• Excellent wettability and transparency on glass and plastic substrates
• Good initial tack
• Good UV-ageing*
• Excellent water-resistance

* Be aware that a long UV exposure can turn yellow the adhesive film in time. 

Physical:

• Colour: Water white - 1 (Gardner colour index)
• Viscosity Thermosel (spindle 27, 10 rpm) at 160°C: 10 000 mPas (±2 000)
• Softening point (Ring and Ball): 95°C (±5°)
• Specific gravity: approx 0.94
• Complies with FDA 175.105 (indirect or direct occasional food contact) and 175.125 (direct food contact for pressure-sensitive adhesives) 

Consumption:

Average coating weight: 20-22gsm (coating weight depends on type of substrate)

Shelf life:

Up to 1 year stored in its original packaging in a clean and dry place at a temperature not exceeding +35°C.

TLH 4191/1E can be applied by roll coater or slot die nozzle at temperatures between 150 - 180°C. A slot die with a rotating bar is recommended for clear & clear quality.

Clean up
Solmelt 100 N or a cleaning agent recommended by equipment producer followed by a thorough purge with the adhesive itself.
