Definitions
Hot MeltAdhesive which is applied at hot temperatures and sets up while cooling
TackAdhesive power to maintain together 2 materials. Tacky surface means sticky surface.

Uses

TLH 2970E is a hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive for clear filmic label applications.

Used in combination with filmic material like PET, OPP or PE films or laminates design for clear labels.

CAUTIONS: For OPP or PE film construction, wettability needs to be checked: film surface tension must be > 42mJ/m² before adhesive application.

Recommendation: compatibility needs to be checked with your release system

Consumption:

Average coating weight: 20-22gsm (coating weight depends on type of substrate)

Shelf life:

Up to 1 year stored in its original packaging in a clean and dry place at a temperature not exceeding +35°C.

Application

TLH 2970E can be applied by roll coater or slot die nozzle at temperatures between 150-170°C.

Rotating slot die nozzle is recommended for low coating weight (15-30gsm).

Clean up
Purge with the adhesive itself.
