Bostik Firecaulk + is a fire rated acrylic (water based) sealant which cures to form a tough, tack-free seal with excellent adhesion to a wide variety of building surfaces. In the event of a fire, FIrecaulk + will swell (intumesce) to form an insulating char, which will resist the passage of smoke and flame. Gives up to 4 hours fire resistance in suitable structures.
A quick-setting, solvented synthetic rubber based product, formulated for sealing longitudinal and flange joints in high velocity air conditioning and ventilation systems. It provides a tough, resilient air-tight seal which prevents loss of internal pressure from the duct. It is both waterproof and flame retardant and has excellent specific adhesion to metal services.
