Definition
D3Adhesive suitable for indoor usage in frequent contact with condensation water or during a short period of time or exposed long term with high relative humidity. Also suitable for oudoor protect from rain

Uses

QUELYD PVA EXTRA is a versatile D3 PVA wood adhesive suitable for bonding and lamination of all wood types.

Ideal for woodworking projects, furniture making for wet rooms (bathrooms, kitchen), tongue and groove assembly of laminate floorboards, engineered flooring and plywood (glue-together method for floating installation)

Indoor & outdoor use (protected from direct weather conditions, i.e. coated or under shelter).

Properties

Physical:

Composition: PVA dispersion, additives

Consumption:

120-200 g/m²

Shelf life:

Up to 3 years stored in dry and cool place. Keep away from frost.

Application

Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free from dust.
Apply a thin coat of adhesive to one of the surfaces. Assemble parts within 4-8 minutes after application while adhesive is still wet.

Press assembly for approx. 30 minutes, the best result is obtained by using clamps.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Full cure: after 12-24 hours at +20°C.
Avoid prolonged contact of adhesive with metal (risk of rust formation).
Minimum application temperature: +7°C.

Clean-up
Wet spillages can be cleaned with hot water.
