Uses

  • ARDAJOINT FLEX is a fliexible joint grout for wall and floor ceramic tiles and natural stones. Suitable for  2 to 20 mm wide joints.
  • Specially designed to resist  without cracking to substrate deformations: façades, terraces, underfloor heating, wood flooring, commercial premises, etc.
  • Water-repellent formulation with "pearl effect" technology that limits water and dirt penetration into joints.
  • Suitable for interior/exterior floors and walls
  • Fast and easy cleaning.
  • Suitable for grouting joints between marble*, natural stone*, terracotta*, glass mosaics and vitrified tiles.

* preliminary tests should be carried out to check to check possible surface staining.

Benefits

  • For exterior/interior walls and floors
  • Suitable for difficult substrates: underfloor heating, wood flooring, terraces, façades, commercial premises

Application

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Ensure that the tiling adhesive has set and dried before grouting. Make sure the joints are dry and free from tiling adhesive or cement, in order to obtain good adhesion and uniform grout colour. If necessary, scrape and remove dust with vaccum cleaner.

APPLICATION

  • Mixing ratio: 5.5L ± 0.5L of clean water for 25kg (1.1 ± 0.1 L of water for 5 Kg). Maturing time: 5 minutes.
  • Spread the grout with a suitable rubber-faced float (on walls) or squeegee (on floors). Work the grout into the joints and make sure they are fully filled with grout leaving no voids.
  • Maximum joint width: 20mm
  • Remove grout surplus carefully (without digging in) with a clean damp sponge. Regularly clean and rinse the sponge.
  • When the grout starts to set, clean the tiles and finish grout smoothing with a sponge or a wet cloth. Pay attention not to damage joints during this procedure. Use a dry clean cloth to polish tiles.
