Application

1. Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust and any loose materials. Stir adhesive thoroughly.

2. A) FIBROUS INSULATION
Apply a generous brush coating to the metal surface and press insulation firmly into place within 2-6 minutes, while the adhesive still has a strong wet tack.

B) RIGID FOAM INSULATION
Apply adhesive to both surfaces by either brush or serrated spreader.  Allow solvent to evaporate for 6-12 minutes and then press insulation into place.

3. Use only in well ventilated areas and allow at least 24 hours before putting the plant into service.  Do not expose to naked flame.

4. Care should be exercised when fixing rigid foam or fibrous insulation panels to ceilings and soffits by use of adhesives alone.  In this situation it is recommended that panels greater than 0.5 sq. metres should be fixed into position using Idenden Insulation Hangers in addition to the adhesive.

5. Clean application equipment and remove excess adhesive immediately with white spirit.

NOTE: Idenden General Purpose Adhesive 10-88 is not suitable for bonding fibrous insulation to absorbent building surfaces (see product data sheet on Idenden Water Based Structural Adhesive   10-188).
